Chrome 17″ wheels are mounted with 275/40 front and 335/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2006 date codes. The RT/10 is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and four-wheel independent suspension. An aftermarket brake kit is fitted with cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit houses bucket seats upholstered in Quartz leather that are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, carpeting, and door panels. Additional equipment includes a heater, air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power door locks. The driver’s seat is lowered and equipped with a Viper-branded five-point harness.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features a Viper crest and fronts a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are mounted atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows under 15k miles, all of which were added under current ownership. A speedometer recalibration kit was fitted in 2004 when the rear gears were changed.
The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was modified by Performance By Joe in St. Louis, Missouri, in January 2007, which included porting and polishing the cylinder heads and installing a 708 camshaft and VEC2 control unit. Subsequent modifications have included an aftermarket intake manifold, chrome-finished intake Smooth Tubes, Corsa exhaust mufflers, Viper V10-branded valve covers, and braided stainless steel lines.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a refurbished six-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, and 3.55:1 gears were installed in 2004.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to McGinley Inc in Highland, Illinois, and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $58,500.
