The truck is equipped with Aisin manually locking front hubs, aftermarket shocks, and a Heckethorn steering stabilizer. Service performed by the selling dealer reportedly consisted of performing a brake fluid flush and replacing the brake pads.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a folding rear bench trimmed in striped gray cloth with vinyl accents, and matching upholstery accents the door panels. Appointments include a push-button AM/FM radio, a passenger grab handle, crank windows, a center console, and a rear window defroster. The air conditioning system has reportedly been converted to R134a refrigerant, and the aftermarket speakers in the cargo area have been disconnected.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer, a 4k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer indicates 78k miles, approximately 70 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor that was reportedly rebuilt in 2022 and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that the cylinder head was machined and the valves and galley plugs were replaced in preparation for the sale. Additional work performed by the selling dealer is said have included changing the fluids, adjusting the valves, and replacing the spark plugs, ignition wires, head gasket, air filter, PCV valve, and battery. The selling dealer notes the cooling and fuel systems were also overhauled, and photos of compression test results are presented in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. According to the selling dealer, the clutch cylinders were replaced, the U-joints were greased, and the transfer case and both differentials were serviced in preparation for the sale. The exhaust manifold gasket was reportedly planed to sit flush against the cylinder head, and the catalytic converter is said to be a replacement.
