Chrome 15″ wire wheels with two-eared knock-off spinners were installed in 2014 and are mounted with 165/80 Classic All Season tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are stored in the trunk. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension system with coil springs and a rigid rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs. Braking is provided by front disc and rear drums.
The 2+2 cockpit features blue leather seat upholstery with white piping along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a heater, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, and rubber Austin-Healey-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 20 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.9-liter inline-six features dual SU carburetors. The fuel tank sending unit was replaced in 2015, the rear main seal was replaced in 2017, and work in preparation for the sale included sealing the oil pan, cleaning the fuel lines, and replacing the battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Clutch components were replaced in 2017. Corrosion is noted on underbody components, and the selling dealer states the car is occasionally difficult to put into first gear.
The removed side curtains are included in the sale
