Silver-finished 14″ Cromodora wheels wear Ferrari center caps and are mounted with 205/70 Lexani LXTR-203 tires. The 308 GT4 features a four-wheel independent suspension system with coil springs and anti-roll bars at the front and rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Service completed under current ownership consisted of replacing all four wheel bearings, and the seller notes the suspension bushings are worn.
The 2+2 cabin was previously trimmed in red and was reupholstered under previous ownership in blue leather. Equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, and front three-point seat belts. The seller notes the radio is missing, the gated shifter is misaligned, and the headliner and driver-side sun visor are sagging. Discoloration behind the carpet on the rear trunk panel can be seen in the gallery below.
The three-spoke MOMO Jackie Stewart steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The transverse-mounted 2.9-liter Tipo F106AL V8 features an aluminum block and cylinder heads along with a flat-plane crankshaft, dual overhead camshafts, quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors, and dual distributors. The engine was rebuilt under previous ownership, and service completed under current ownership consisted of a coolant flush, an oil change, and replacing the valve cover gaskets, timing belt, spark plugs, ignition wires, camshaft cover, camshaft seals, ignition seals, rear shift shaft, and radiator fan switch. The previously-replaced intake manifold gaskets were reportedly removed, trimmed to fit the application, and reinstalled, and the seller also notes the fuse box, carburetor base gaskets, ignition points, and throttle shaft and bearings were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
