Two-piece 16″ Compomotive wheels with gold centers and faux knock-off spinners wrapped in staggered-width Falken Ziex ZE950 tires that were mounted in November 2022. Steering is provided by a power-assisted rack-and-pinion, and stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes. The rear suspension features single-tube traction bars with a Panhard rod, and coilovers are fitted all around.
The cockpit features low-back bucket seats upholstered in tan vinyl along with a matching dash fascia, door panels, and color-coordinated carpeting. Appointments include three-point seatbelts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater/defroster, door map pockets, a Hurst shifter, and a Ford cassette stereo linked to a pair of speakers located behind the seats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Stewart-Warner instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 429ci Ford V8 is equipped with a Cobra-branded air filter housing, Ford Motorsport-branded valve covers, an electronic ignition, and an electric fuel pump and radiator fan. The selling dealer states that the exhaust headers and side-exit exhaust pipes have been ceramic coated. Service in September 2020 reportedly consisted of performing a tune-up, replacing the spark plugs, and changing the oil.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ Ford rear end with 3.50:1 gearing. A quick-release clutch quadrant is installed.
The car is accompanied by assembly manuals as well as build and service records.
